Will a large video delivery meet the deadline?
Check sequential upload and download time, including an already-complete upload, using explicit throughput assumptions.
The conservative route here completes upload before starting download. With decimal GB and Mbps, each leg takes hours = GB × 8,000 ÷ Mbps ÷ 0.8 ÷ 3,600. The 80% value is a scenario.
For 45 GB at 100 Mbps upload and 5 Mbps download, the two legs take 1.25 + 25 = 26.25 hours. An eight-hour deadline fails even though the sender upload alone fits. If the full upload already exists, exclude that leg using the upload-state field.
Processing, retries, link expiry and provider quotas may add time. Measure sustained rates and confirm the route before making a promise.
